Run, jog or walk the Break-Fast 5K and indulge in post-race gourmet pancakes! This Sunday morning race is new to the Bucks 5K Series and will start and finish near the Doylestown Train Station and run through the Doylestown Hunt development (the old Freight House course). There will also be a 1-Mile Fun Run prior to the 5K race. Please join us for an outdoor post-race pancake breakfast at the Station Tap House with Drs. Johnny King-Marino and Kathy McKinney flipping the gourmet flapjacks and serving the Breakfast Stout and Champagne and mimosas!

The Break-Fast 5K race is sponsored in part and organized by the Bucks County Road Runners Club, which is dedicated to wellness, camaraderie, support of the sport of recreational and competitive running, and community involvement. Proceeds from the Break-Fast 5K event will benefit CB Cares Educational Foundation, Bucks County, PA.

About CB Cares

We are the “little engine” that DOES in this community. Last year, we brought close to 1,000 parents together for our Parent Positive speaker series. Our partners all have the benefit and BIG budgets - yet CB Cares Educational Foundation funded the highly attended “expert” speaker evenings for the community. To date, we have awarded close to $100,000 in Innovative Learning Grants to well-deserving teachers and schools. Currently, we are working on the 4th Annual Social Justice and Peace Teen Forum to continue the important conversation about tolerance and acceptance of our culturally diverse world and its impact across the county. Our drug/alcohol prevention initiatives and programs have contributed to the past 7 – 8 years of data and the reduction of use across the middle/high school levels. Date provided here is for 10th grade reduction and well below on the national level in three of the four categories.
